Farms Work Berri

An area well known for its fruit orchards and vineyards, Berri gave its name to Australia’s famous juice and fruit company, Berri, which still operates out of the town. The name Berri comes from the Aboriginal phrase ‘beri beri’ which translates to ‘bend in the river’. Home to Australia’s largest winery, Berri Estates, there are heaps of fruit picking jobs in the town, as well as a whole lot of water based activities available on the river in this warm town.
